5th Grade Camp Seymour Did Not Disappoint!

Three students in life jackets on dock

"Camp in December?  Who knew it would be so great?  5th graders, teachers, and chaperones recently got back for a fun-filled two and half day camp experience at Camp Seymour in Gig Harbor.  We learned about albatross (giant sea birds), reptiles, marine animals, and squid.  We had a canoeing & water safety class, as well as challenging ourselves on the climbing tower.  Kids stepped out of their comfort zones and tried new things.  It was a great learning experience!"  - Ms. Schaffer, 5th Grade Teacher

"We had a fantastic time at Camp Seymour!  The classes, activities, and Camp teachers were excellent!  Kids were “challenged by choice” to try things out of their comfort zones.  Going in December meant we had the camp property to ourselves, which was a bonus." - Mrs. Page, 5th Grade Teacher
