Update: Eagle Scout Garden Project Now Harvesting Fresh Veggies

Back in June, an Eagle Scout completed a project to enhance recess by building garden beds. Now, just a few months later, those beds are producing a bountiful harvest of vegetables, much to the excitement of the students. The fresh veggies have added a new layer of fun and learning to their outdoor time, turning the garden into a growing success.

Eagle Scout Project Enhances Recess with Garden Beds

On behalf of the staff and students at Cascade Ridge Elementary, we thank Ronak Kothari for his project to complete his Eagle Scout badge.  We are thrilled to have new planting beds that encourage the love of the environment, sustainable practices and composting.  Most of all, the garden beds allow for exploration and fun at recess for all students.

Thank you Ronak and Congratulations!
