Green Goals Grow with Little Footprints, Big Impacts

Performer in bush costume interacts with students

April 1our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students watched an assembly put on by King County’s Solid Waste Division.

The program, Little Footprints, Big Impacts, is about how to conserve natural resources and keep waste out of the landfill. This assembly supports our Green School initiatives and helps students have an understanding of how to decide if an item goes in the garbage, recycling or compost bins throughout the school.

We had a great time learning together!
