Cascade Ridge Elementary honored local service members during its annual Veterans Day assembly, bringing students, staff, families and community veterans together for a morning of gratitude. Veterans from various branches of the military were welcomed as special guests and recognized for their service.
Students wrote heartfelt letters to the visiting veterans, thanking them for their dedication and describing what service means to them. During the assembly, classes performed songs about courage, sacrifice and kindness.
